
These damn things are so ugly. The first time I caught one was in my little boat in a tributary on Cape Cod. I didn’t know what the hell it was and nearly just cut the line because I thought it was some sort of mutant. Oh, it’s an Oyster Toadfish. The maximum length of this toadfish is 43.2 cm, but they infrequently surpass 38 cm.)
